Iran’s Heavy Crude Down over $18 p/b in August

A05072193.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- The average price of Iran’s heavy crude oil went down by over $18 per barrel in August this year.

The September edition of the OPEC bulletin reported that the price of Iran’s heavy crude stood at 108.10 in July.

The report puts the average price of Iran’s heavy crude oil so far in 2008 at $ 106.43 p/b, indicative of a rise of $ 46.16 compared with the $ 60.27 p/b price of similar period in 2007.

The average price of OPEC basket in August stood at $ 112.41 p/b, cut by $ 18.81 over that of July.
