Rafei’s first feature-length film will be screened along with productions from Italy, France, Brazil, Bangladesh, the US and the Netherlands.

The Sun Shines on All Equally recounts the story of a Christian woman, who helps her Muslim friend take his chemically wounded husband to a holy shrine in hopes that a miracle will save him, a press tv report said.

Iranian actress Merila Zarei received the Best Actress Award of Chechnya’s Noah’s Arc International Film Festival for her brilliant performance in Rafei’s production.

The 6th Mostra of cinema and religion, to be held from Sep. 23 to 28, 2008, features films that portray religion as a means to alleviate human suffering.
