Iran Sends 160 Fuel Trucks to Iraq Everyday

A0198246.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Some 160 trucks carry fuel to Iraq via Mehran International Border Point per day, an official said.

Caretaker of Ilam Transportation and Terminals Organization told the Islamic republic news agency that over 28,000 fuel trucks carrying 840 mln liters of fuel went to Iraq during the first half of current Iranian year started March 21, 2008.

Mohammd Kazemi said thanks to the infrastructure and well-equipped international transit companies, there is no problem in transiting the fuel through the Mehran International Border Point.

Mehran International Boarder Point is an important trading center and a major route for pilgrims to travel to Iraq.
