Iranian Scholars to Attend Islamic Manuscripts Conference in Istanbul

A0202225.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian scholars Sadeq Hosseini Eshkevari and Akbar Irani will participate in a conference on Islamic manuscripts that will be held in Istanbul on October 10 and 11.

The Head of the Islamic Archive Assembly Sadeq Hosseini Eshkevari will give a lecture on rare Islamic seals, which are available in Feizieh Religious Science School in Qom.

The director of Miras-e Maktub Institute, Akbar Irani will speak about the “The Condition of Manuscripts in Iran”.

Scholars and academics from all over the world including Mandana Barkeshli from Malaysia, Muhammad Isa Waley from England, Irina Katkova from Russia and Aref Noshahi from Pakistan will present papers during the conference, MNA reported.

The conference that will be held by Istanbul municipality is in English language.
