Azerbaijan Covers Arrears of Electricity to Iran . .

A00706055.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Azerbaijan has completely covered its electricity arrears owed to Iran.

The Azeri state company said the account has reached a zero level. At present the two countries continue exchanging electricity.

Azerbaijan had been supplying 1.3 million to 1.4 million kilowatts of electricity a day to Iran since April so as to pay off its debt, AzerEnerji said.

The arrears of electricity was 258 million kilowatts in April.
