Angolan President Invited to Visit Iran

A01186605.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos this Thursday received a message of invitation from his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to pay a visit to the Islamic Republic.

José Eduardo dos Santos received the invitation during a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Reza Bagheri.

Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Bagheri said that in the message the Iranian President also expressed his country’s desire to maintain cooperation with Angola.

“And this cooperation would specially concentrate on economic, educational, cultural, energy, and housing sectors,” the senior diplomat added.
