TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- A parliamentary friendship group left Tehran for Amman on Saturday on an official visit to Jordan.
According to a statement released by the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the 7-member delegation headed by the chairman of the parliamentary friendship group Heshmatollah Felahat Pisheh is paying the visit at the invitation of the Jordanian parliament.
During the 7-day visit, the Iranian MPs will meet a number of Jordan’s high-ranking political and parliamentary officials to discuss bilateral ties, international developments, and expansion of parliamentary relations.
Visits to the different historical, cultural, religious and economic centers of Jordan are also among the other programs of the Iranian delegation.
