Slovenia, Kosovo sign cooperation agreement

The Slovenian government confirmed an agreement with Kosovo for development cooperation.

According to the Slovenian government, the law for the agreement for development cooperation between Slovenia and Kosovo is needed “for establishing normative and organizational frameworks for implementing developmental help to Kosovo.”

Slovenia and Kosovo will be forming a joint committee for harmonizing the priorities and content of this aid to Kosovo.

The Slovenian government stated that taking into consideration its EU membership, some of the programs for aid to Kosovo can be co-financed by the appropriate EU programs to help with development in Kosovo.
