FM Conveys Ahmadinejad’s Message to Pope

news29.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki left Tehran for the Vatican on Wednesday to convey President Ahmadinejad’s message to the world Catholic Church leader Pope Benedict XVI.

There are no reports about the contents of the message, however, Ahmadinejad had earlier said that he intended to discuss global issues with different heads of states and religious leaders.

This is the Iranian president’s fifth letter to the world leaders and nations. He has already sent messages to US President George W Bush, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Jacque Chiraque and one more to the American nation.
