Montenegrin President: Tadić set his own protocol in Montenegro

Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović says it was Serbian President Boris Tadić who set his own protocol for his recent visit to that country.

Vujanović explained that Tadić requested to confer only with Montenegrin president and prime minister.

During Tadić’s recent visit, Speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament Ranko Krivokapić complained to Vujanović because he did not take part in the talks with the Serbian president.

“Everything that Tadić requested was complied with, and the reason why Krivokapic was left out of the meeting should be discussed with the Serbian president,” Vujanović told the RTCG television outlet.

Vujanović described as “nonsense” Krivokapić’s earlier accusations that he had secretly conferred with Tadić, and added that this claim was an offense to both him and Tadić.

Krivokapić is known for his controversial statements concerning Serbia, and his recent scheduled visit to Belgrade was canceled.
