US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called Prime Minister George Papandreou on Sunday (February 13th) to discuss the situation in Egypt and the state of the Greek economy. Papandreou said his country is willing to contribute constructively to developments in Egypt. He also briefed Clinton on the outcome of a recent visit by a delegation of the European Commission, European Central Bank and the IMF to review Greece’s progress in efforts to bring its economy in check.
