EU Justice Commissioner recommends that Croatia judiciary chapter to be finalised by June

EU Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding has recommended to EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele that talks with Croatia on the judiciary chapter be finalised by June.

Fuele will present his report to the EU Council of Foreign Ministers on Monday. Member states will then decide whether Croatia can finalise negotiations by the end of June and will possibly set an accession date for the country.

Croatia has finalised talks on 31 of 35 chapters.
