Vehicle border crossings between Macedonia and Greece will be shut for the next ten days, due to a strike by Greek customs officers, the Macedonian Government has said.
During the strike only pedestrians will be allowed to go through the border on foot, authorities have said.
All three vehicle border crossings with Greece will be blocked, including the most frequent, Bogorodica-Evzoni point which lies on the motorway connecting Skopje with Thessaloniki.
Customs officers are joining a string of strikes in Greece against the envisaged austerity measures adopted by their government.
