Serbian President Boris Tadic had a phone conversation with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov in which he thanked for latter’s principle position of support to the decision of the European Council for giving Serbia a status of EU member state candidate.
At the EU summit on March 1-2 in Brussels Boyko Borisov said that Bulgaria backs the decision without setting Bulgaria’s accession in the Schengen area as a condition for country’s support to Serbia.
Boyko Borisov yet again expressed Bulgaria’s political and expert’s support to Belgrade in the process of the negotiations in the pre-accession period and to its European perspective.
