Bulgarian police have succeeded to provide a computer-generated image of the suicide bomber who staged the July 18 terror attack in the coastal town of Burgas.The photo of the suspect was released on Wednesday by the press office of Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry.
The Interior Ministry urges anyone who has information about the person to report it to the nearest police station to aid in the investigation.
On July 18, a bus carrying Israeli tourists was detonated at the Sarafavo Airport in Burgas on the Black Sea.The blast killed 5 Israeli tourists, the Bulgarian bus driver and the suicide bomber.
The country’s National Security Council advised Bulgarian government to re-assess the security environment, update the anti-terrorism conceptual model, and improve the crisis center at the Council of Ministers.
The Burgas blast has shaken Bulgaria’s reputation as a safe and easy-going tourist destination.
