Bulgarian Energy Minister visits Istanbul and meets Turkish counterpart

Bulgaria’s caretaker Economy and Energy Minister Asen Vasilev will make a working visit to Istanbul, Turkey.

Vasilev and Stoyanov are to meet Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz on Friday.

The meeting will focus on opportunities for increasing the capacity of the interconnection between the power grids of Bulgaria and Turkey and the establishment of a Bulgarian-Turkish committee on energy issues.
