The Çankaya presidential palace is scheduled to host a Balkan Summit to discuss the latest developments in the region with the leaders of both Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara next week.

Paying a two-day visit to Turkey upon the invitation of Turkish President Abdullah Gül, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Bosniak member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite presidency Bakir Izetbegovic, Serb member and chairman of the tripartite presidency Nebojsa Radmanovic, and Zeljko Komsic, the Croat member, will discuss bilateral ties and regional affairs.

The last Balkan Summit was held in the Serbian capital city of Belgrade in April 2011, when Gül underlined the necessity for radical reforms in the Balkan countries.
