Moldova and Turkmenistan discuss bilateral cooperation

Turkmen-Moldovan political consultations were held in Chisinau as part of preparations for Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s official visit to Moldova, scheduled for the second half of July 2013, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry said today.

According to the report, the Moldovan delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Popov, while the Turkmen delegation was lead by his counterpart Berdyniyaz Myatiyev.

The two sides discussed prospects of cooperation in trade-economic, energy and humanitarian spheres.
