Croatia is ready to process communist crimes, claims country’s Foreign Minister.
Vesna Pusic has made it clear Croatia will accept the duties taken when joining the European Union last month.
“Croatia should, it can and will process the crimes from times of the communist regime”, the minister stressed.
The announcement from the minister comes after Croatia failed to extradite Josip Perkovic to Germany. The former intelligence service member from the former Yugoslavia is wanted in Germany on suspicion of murdering a political dissident.
