Serbian President to visit Bulgaria

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is going to visit Bulgaria next week at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Rosen Plevneliev, announced Plevneliev’s foreign policy adviser Tihomir Stoychev.

Bulgaria considers its relations with Serbia very important. To us it is essential to enhance political dialog. The first meeting between the two presidents was last year in Belgrade. The trade and economic cooperation will be an important issue during the visit. The two presidents will open a business forum in Sofia, he said.

An important element will be also EU enlargement to the Western Balkan countries, he added.
