Pakistan and Turkey have pledged to intensify efforts for further promoting their defense cooperation besides discussing proposals for transfer of technology, possibility of export of defense equipment and service, said an official press release on Thursday.
Both countries pledge to enhance defense cooperation as visiting Federal Defense Minister of Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain, held talks with his Turkish counterpart Ismet Yilmaz in Ankara.
Hussain is visiting Turkey from Jan 28 to February 3 at the invitation of Turkish Defense Minister briefed the hosts about the initiatives and progress made by Pakistan in defense production sector.
