New round of Kosovo talks to continue in Brussels

Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci, will meet today with the EU High Representative Catherine Ashton on a new round of dialogue.

Besides Dacic, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister will attend the meeting Aleksandar Vucic.

“The two sides will continue to work on implementing the agreement in April and discuss the next steps regarding the normalization of relations,” said Ashton’s office.

Topics are expected to include community justice and establishing Serb municipalities, which the two sides have not reached an agreement.

Confirming that he was traveling to Brussels Vucic, Dacic announced “serious discussion” on topics that the parties have so far failed to agree on, and on the implementation of what was agreement.
