Algeria has strongly condemned the terrorist attack against a contingent of the United Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in Kidal, Mali, leaving many injured among the Senegalese soldiers of the mission, said Sunday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a communiqué.
Algeria also expressed solidarity with the people and the government of Senegal and with the families of the victims, said the communiqué.
“While paying tribute to Senegal and to countries supplying MINUSMA contingents, Algeria reiterates its rejection of terrorism in all its forms and reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the regional and international efforts for lasting peace and stability in Mali,” said the Ministry’s communiqué.
