Russian consulate in Aden city of Yemen attacked by Houthi rebels

The Russian consulate in Yemen’s Aden city was attacked and looted by Shia Houthi militia, media reported on Thursday.
Armed groups of Houthi rebels on Wednesday attacked the consulate, breaking the doors open, seizing property and office equipment.
According to witnesses, they took equipment and documents out of the building, loaded them onto vehicles and drove away.
Earlier reports said the Russian consulate in Aden has been damaged in airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition.
Sources in Aden said there were reportedly no diplomats in the building during the attack.
Meanwhile, Russian nationals are getting ready to be evacuated from the conflict-stricken country.
