Algeria condemns terror attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait, Somalia and France

Algeria condemned in “the strongest terms” the terrorist attacks against a hotel in Sousse in Tunisia, a mosque in Kuwait, an AMISOM base in Mogadishu (Somalia) and a plant in France’s Isere.
It also expressed solidarity with the governments and the victims’ families.
“We have experienced on this Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, a series of deadly terrorist attacks in different parts of the world; in Tunisia, Kuwait, Somalia and France. All these bloody crimes have in common the fact of being perpetrated by blind terrorism that claims acting in the name of Islam. However, it almost daily attacks innocent human lives that Islam venerates and makes sacred above all,” said Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, in a statement to APS.
“We condemn in the strongest terms these heinous acts and express our solidarity with the governments and the victims’ families in Tunisia, Kuwait, France, and Somalia, and with the home countries of the AMISOM brave peacekeepers, died the attack against their base, in Mogadishu,” he said.
He added that “the terror that terrorism seeks to impose to many countries and societies, the unparalleled violence and barbarity that characterize their harmful acts can’t be countered only by combining all the efforts of the international community. This community is urged to act urgently to stop the progress of terrorism on many fronts throughout the world and to establish a coordinated and effective strategy likely to eliminate this destructive phenomenon, which represents a serious threat to all the countries of the world.”
