The statement said “these elements were preparing to join groups entrenched in the mountains of the governorate of Jendouba, to install a terrorist training camp. They had weapons of war. ”
This terrorist operation comes after the Sunday announcement of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi to extend the state of emergency for a month. The latter had been established in November in the wake of a suicide attack against the presidential guard in Tunis that killed 12.
