A U.S. military delegation arrived in Cairo Tuesday for talks with Egyptian officials on means to boost joint military cooperation to counter the growing threat of terrorism and violent extremism in the region, Youm7 reported.
The delegation is headed by Alexander Mark Laskaris; Deputy to the Commander for Civil-Military Engagement U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM)
During the visit, the delegation is expected to discuss the latest political and security development in Africa.
