The crisis in Libya is to be the focus of the upcoming African Union summit in Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of Congo, on January 25, Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui
announced following a meeting with his Congolese counterpart Jean Claude Gakosso on Tuesday.
The summit aims to “make an African contribution” to resolving the Libyan crisis. The Republic of Congo chairs the AU high-level committee on Libya. Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi is expected to attend the summit.
