Leader: Foreign spies behind currency hype

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that foreign spies have been working behind the scenes to create a foreign currency crisis in Iran. “The role of foreigners and their intelligence services was obvious in the recent chaos in Iran’s currency market,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with thousands of Intelligence Ministry staff in Tehran.
