No political and security formation and structure can be formed in the region and the Middle-East without the presence of the Islamic Republic, Iran’s Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi said on Friday. “At present Iran is a secure island in the region,” the minister said, adding, “and the neighboring countries have several times demanded Iran’s presence and activity for establishing security in their own countries and in the region.”
He further reminded that hatching plots against Iran and sowing seeds of discord between Iran and other regional states set a major goal for Israel, and continued, “Despite abundant restrictions imposed on Iran, we are witnessing that Iran’s security, might and ties with foreign countries have all increased in comparison with what existed in previous years.”
