Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega appreciated the medical aids and assistance by Iran’s Red Crescent Society to the people of his country during the recent rainstorms which killed and wounded a large number of Nicaraguans. Speaking during a meeting with the Iranian medical team, Ortega praised the valuable services and prompt measures adopted by the Red Crescent Society.
After the recent rainstorms in Nicaragua, Iran dispatched a team of medical experts, including 8 physicians and nurses, along with large volumes of drugs and medical equipment to Nicaragua on September 16 to help those affected by the rainstorms in that country.
