Envoy Calls for Bolstering of Iran-France Cultural Cooperation

A03444023.jpgFrench ambassador to Iran stressed that cultural cooperation between Tehran and Paris would secure expansion of the two countries’ ties in future. Speaking in a meeting with the mayor and members of the city council of Rasht, the capital city of the northern province of Gilan Friday night, Bernard Paulette voiced pleasure from his visit to Gilan, and highlighted the magnificent history of Rasht and its special role in the formation of Iranian history.

He further described attendance at the second international conference on rural heritage museum as the main cause of his trip to Gilan, stressing that visiting the rural heritage museum was of much importance to him.

“The best way to secure and develop future relations between Iran and France is cultural cooperation and we lay much emphasis on this cooperation,” the envoy reiterated.
