Iranian parliament Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel in a meeting with a parliamentary delegation from Oman here on Monday described strife among Islamic faiths as the most serious danger threatening the Muslim world.

Chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaoddin Boroujerdi viewed establishment of security in the region as a prerequisite for the exploitation of resources existing in the Middle-East.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad extended his condolences to Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz on the demise of the King’s brother and ruler of Mecca, Abdul-Hamid bin Abdul-Aziz.
