Executive director of the United Nations AIDS program (UNAIDS) in a letter lauded Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his effective measures in the campaign against the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

To get out of the quagmire it has created in Iraq, the United States is in need of Iran’s aid and assistance, Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi said here on Wednesday.
