Iran’s Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh says he is not worried over possible further sanctions on Tehran as the country has already been under such siege since the victory of the Islamic Revolution more than 27 years ago.

South African Ambassador Dumisani Kumalo said that his country would carefully scrutinize the draft resolution on new UN sanctions against Iran to ensure it leads to “a political solution”.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran will respond “in equal measure” if the UN Security Council issues a second sanctions resolution against the country.
