Herman van Rompuy, the President of the European Council, paid a one-day visit to Romania and Bulgaria. In Romania, Rompuy met the President Traian Băsescu, the Prime Minister Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu and spoke in front of the Romanian Parliament
