Finland supports Skopje’s EU aspirations. This was officially announced by Finnish President Sauli Niinisto after a meeting with Nikola Gruevski in Helsinki. Prime Minister Gruevski explained that talks with President Niinisto were focused mainly on bilateral relations, Skopje’s EU enlargement and accession and the country’s name issue.

EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule is going to attend the inauguration ceremony of Serbia’s President Tomislav Nikolic. According to Fule’s spokesperson Peter Stano, the EU Enlargement Commissioner is going to call on the continuation of European reforms in Serbia.
