Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohmmad Ali Hosseini said Tehran has extended a positive response to a request by the Iraqi government for attending talks with the US over Iraq issue.

Iran on Sunday stressed once more that it would not accept suspension of its uranium enrichment activities, but meantime called on the Group 5+1 to present Tehran with its views and ideas through official and diplomatic channels.

A prominent Iranian lawmaker stressed that the Untied States is not a proper host for the United Nations Organization and called on all member states to demand a transfer of the UN headquarters from New York.
