A car exploded outside Russia’s occupation headquarters in South Ossetia yesterday, killing seven invaders in what leaders of the Moscow-backed separatist region immediately described as a “terrorist attack” launched from Georgia.  

Russia has failed to achieve its major goals in Georgia and therefore the threat of Russian aggression still persists, President Saakashvili said on October 2 at a meeting with the command of the Georgian armed forces.
