Bulgaria supports Albania’s EU road

Bulgaria will support Albania in its candidacy for the European Union, said Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin.

Vigenin met with Albanian Ambassador to Sofia, Petrit Karabina, who acquainted him with the most recent efforts of the Albanian government for reforms, which would bring the country closer to the EU.

The Foreign Minister expressed hopes that his upcoming visit to Tirana will boost the future cooperation between the two nations.

Among the possible areas for partnership, the diplomats pointed out energy, infrastructure, trade, cultural and educational exchange.
