Russia condemns Israeli offensive on Lebanon and Gaza

MOSCOW, (SANA)-

Russia has condemned the Israeli aggression on the civilian infrastructures in Lebanon and Gaza Strip, asserting strong support to Lebanon’s sovereignty and integrity.

Official spokesman of Russian Foreign Ministry, Michael Kaminin said in a statement issued Thursday, ” Moscow sees that Israeli destruction of the infrastructures in Lebanon and in Palestine are not justified”.

Kaminin stressed that the Israeli attack on Beirut International Airport constituted a dangerous step on the way of escalation, calling all the involved parties to adopt immediate measures not to push the region into flagrant conflict.
