Iran-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Starts Work

A0228531.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran-Azerbaijan friendship association officially started its work as of today.

The association is said to pursue different goals, particularly development of relations and utilization of the two countries’ potentials.

Member of Iran-Azerbaijan Association Mir-Qasem Mo’meni told FNA that given the significance of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the region and the two nations’ historical and cultural commonalities, Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan should always strive to expand their ties in all the different cultural, economic and social areas.

“The aforementioned forms the basis and orientation of Iran-Azerbaijan Friendship Association’s activities,” he concluded.
