Ahmadinejad to Leave for UAE, Oman

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is due to pay visits to the United Arab Emirates and Oman in mid May. During the visits, which will take place at the invitation of the UAE Emir Khalifa bin Zayid al-Nuhayyan and Omani King Sultan Qaboos bin Said al-Said, the Iranian president will discuss regional and international issues and ink several agreements in grounds of economic cooperation with the two Arab states.

A number of cabinet ministers, including Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, are due to accompany President Ahmadinejad during the three-day visits.
