FM Arrives in Islamabad

A02439161.jpgIran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan Tuesday morning to attend the 34th meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). Mottaki is scheduled to attend meetings with several of his Muslim counterparts on the sidelines of the OIC meeting.

During the three-day event dubbed as ‘Peace, Progress and Solidarity’, foreign ministers of the 57 member states will discuss developments of the world of Islam, regional and world topics and other issues of interest to the member states.

The 33rd meeting of the OIC foreign ministers was held in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku in 2006.
