TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s Intelligence Minister Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ezhehee said that his forces have arrested a number of individuals in connection with the plans and measures of Haleh Esfandyari and Kian Tajbakhsh.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the cabinet’s weekly session here on Wednesday, the minister pointed to the aired confessions of Haleh Esfandyari, Kian Tajbakhsh and Ramin Jahanbaglou, whom he described as agents linked to the aliens, and said that the court would decide about the charges and proper punishments for the said individuals.
He further confirmed that the agents who worked for Esfandyari and Tajbakhsh inside Iran have been arrested, and said that the names and the underlying causes of their arrest would be declared to the public in the near future.
The official ruled out reports that the said individuals had established relations with certain Iranian parties inside the country.
“Saying that they have been in contact with a special party or group is wrong,” he underscored.
The intelligence minister also mentioned that the aforesaid individuals have not yet gone on trial.
