Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad extended his congratulations to the Malaysian king, prime minister, government and nation on the country’s national day. In his separate messages to the Malaysian officials, Ahmadinejad voiced pleasure in the developing relations between the two friendly countries of Iran and Malaysia, and expressed the hope that the two sides would witness further consolidation and reinvigoration of mutual ties in all the political, economic and cultural areas in coming years, a statement released by the Presidential Press Office said.
