Total cannot Solely Put Pars LNG Project Cost

The managing director of the National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC) announced here on Saturday that France’s Total is not the only company that makes decision on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) costs of Pars LNG project. Talking to MNA, Nasrollah Seifi added that a consortium comprising Total, Malaysian Petronas, and Iran jointly make decisions on the project.

He said that the demand and supply for oil projects are not balanced under current conditions, adding offer outnumbers demand.

Three projects of Pars LNG, Iran LNG, and Persian LNG are the current projects of Assaluyeh region on which Iran held negotiations with total, Petronas, and some Chinese companies.
