Proposed by foreign minister and approved by the president, Ibrahim Rahimpour was appointed as Iran’s ambassador to Ireland. According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau, Rahimpour has already served as Foreign Ministry’s Director General for West European Affairs and Iran’s ambassador to India and Austria.
