VP Underlines Expansion of Ties with Kyrgyzstan

A015825411.jpgIran’s first Vice-President Parviz Davoudi noted Iran’s efforts to develop relations with Kyrgyzstan, and expressed the hope that the two countries’ friendly ties would further expand in all the different areas in future. According to a report released by the Presidential Press Office, Davoudi made the remarks in a meeting with Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to Tehran, where he said exchange of visits by the two countries’ senior officials would consolidate cordial relations between Tehran and Bishkek and serve the interests of both nations.

He further stressed the need for the enhanced activity of the two countries’ joint economic commission, and voiced Iran’s preparedness to further develop mutual relations with Kyrgyzstan, particularly in trade, economic, technical and engineering areas.

Davoudi also said that Iran and Kyrgyzstan enjoy ample potentials and possibilities for developing the existing relations, and called on both sides to enhance efforts to utilize the existing potentials and possibilities in the interest of the two nations.

For his part, the Kyrgyz envoy underlined his country’s political resolve to develop and deepen mutual ties with Iran in the different grounds, and said that the Kyrgyz government and nation attach much significance to their relations with the friendly and neighboring countries.

He further voiced pleasure with the developing trend of Tehran-Bishkek relations, and stated his country’s readiness to promote bilateral ties in different areas, specially within the form of the two countries’ joint economic commission.
