Iranian FM Meets Kuwaiti Counterpart

A009056819.jpgIranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Muhammad al-Sabah on the sidelines of the 62nd United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.During the meeting, Mottaki and al-Sabah discussed arrangement of the two countries’ joint economic commission meeting and exchanged views about such regional issues as the meeting of the foreign ministers of Iraq’s neighboring countries, a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said.

The two top diplomats also underlined the need for their embassies to enhance activities to boost mutual cooperation.

Also in the meeting, the Kuwaiti foreign minister extended an invitation to Mottaki to pay a visit to his country.
